“En el ya conocido blog de mundie-moms están realizando un “read-a-long” de “Clockwork Angel”, para quienes no sepan de que se trata esto, es una forma de leer el libro pero tratando de obtener escenas ineditas y sacando datos “curiosos”, Cassandra Clare ha subido algunas partes y aquí les tenemos la traducción. La escena esta ubicada entre el prologo y el primer capítulo de Ángel Mecánico
Jem unhitched his arms from his cane and sighed.“You know I believe we are reborn,” he said quietly. “I think if two souls are meant to be together, they will remain together on the Wheel and be together again in the life after this one.
“Is that an official teaching or something you invented yourself?” Will asked.
”Jem laughed. “Does it matter?”
Will looked at him curiously. “Do you think we will be together again?” At the change in Jem’s expression, he added, “I mean, is there a chance for me? To have another life after this, a better one?”

Jem soltó su bastón y suspiró. “Sabes que yo creo que nacemos de nuevo”, dijo en voz baja. “Creo que si dos almas están destinados a estar juntas, van a permanecer juntas durante el camino y estarán juntas de nuevo en una vida después de ésta.”
